Side Table

I built this as a commemorative piece for my grandfather who passed away in Summer 2016 and as a functional piece we use at home. I reclaimed a bunch of wood from used pallets, de-nailed, and built this small table. I attempted to use cut nails but ended up with some funky splits, and ended up using modern self tapping screws anyway. It turned out well and I like the way the curves of the fork cutouts on the pallet 2x4s ended up being a neat accidental detail. The exposed log surface I found on an odd pallet stretcher was a cool detail as well.
